Koss headphone modifications
HiFlightAudio provides performance upgrades for the following Koss headphones:
KSC-35

PortaPro
Our modification options include the following improvements: replacement of the plastic driver covers with your choice of an acoustically transparent mesh or a pattern of drilled holes, either option is available with a resin coating, increasing driver impedance, and replacing the stock pads with larger open-center pads as shown.
We are also able to convert the KSC-35 and 75 to a more traditional style by replacing the standard ear clips with a lightweight adjustable headband.
We can either modify your existing phones or provide a new PortaPro or KSC-35 with the desired modifications.

Balanced headphone Adapter cable
This is a high-quality custom headphone to speaker-terminal adapter that enables hard-to-drive balanced headphones to be driven directly from the speaker terminals of your amplifier.
The standard adapter measures 18" long and is terminated on the headphone end with a gold-plated Neutrik 4-pin connector. The amplifier ends are silver-tinned bare wire. The tinned ends are also color-coded to ensure proper hookup to your amplifier. Longer lengths are also available on request
All adapters are constructed from professional grade OFC microphone cable. This cable offers superb audio performance while remaining very flexible. Custom lengths with or without banana plug terminations at the tinned ends are optionally available. The adapter can also be ordered with dual 3-pin XLR connectors instead of the standard 4-pin. We also make single-ended adapters to mate with a 4-pin balanced cable XLR connector. These are terminated with a 1/4" Neutrik TRS plug.
We also offer some simple options to adjust channel balance control for those systems lacking such a capability.
